Kulasekarapattinam launch pad to be fully operational soon’

Exuding optimism after ISRO’s 100th successful launch, Chairman V. Narayanan announced that the upcoming launch pad in Kulasekarapattinam will be fully operational within two years. Speaking to the media, he revealed that a sounding rocket was launched during the inauguration of the pad, marking an important milestone in India’s space exploration journey.
Narayanan emphasized that once completed, the Kulasekarapattinam facility will support the launch of PSLV and GSLV rockets, significantly boosting ISRO’s capabilities. He also highlighted the organization’s ambitious plans, including Chandrayaan 4, Chandrayaan 5, a Mars lander, a Venus orbiter, and the Next Generation Launch Vehicle (NGLV). Confident in ISRO’s rapid progress, Narayanan stated that today’s ISRO is well-equipped to achieve its next 100 missions within just five years.
