Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay convened a crucial meeting with the party’s newly appointed district office-bearers at the Panaiyur office in Chennai today. The meeting, attended by over 100 administrators from across Tamil Nadu, aimed to strengthen the party’s groundwork ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections. General Secretary N. Anand was also present at the session.

Office-bearers from 19 districts, including Chennai, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Dharmapuri, Salem, Madurai, Mayiladuthurai, Erode, Nagapattinam, Pudukottai, and Coimbatore, took part in the meeting. Vijay personally met with each of them and handed over their appointment orders, underlining their new responsibilities within the party.

Addressing the gathering, Vijay emphasized the critical role of the office-bearers in ensuring the party’s success. “This party was founded for the people, and you are now entrusted with its progress. We have come a long way from the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam days, and together, we will move forward towards victory in 2026. We must work harder than ever to serve the people,” he stated.

The meeting marked a significant step in TVK’s political journey, as Vijay continues to build a strong grassroots network to challenge established parties in the upcoming elections.
