Teach BJP a Lesson, Expects Victory in Elections”AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami issued a fervent call to party cadre, urging them to work tirelessly for the victory of party candidates and deliver a resounding response to the BJP’s divisive politics. Palaniswami accused the saffron party of attempting to sow discord within the AIADMK ranks by supporting certain new political leaders.
Expressing confidence in the cadre’s ability to counter the BJP’s tactics, Palaniswami referenced recent remarks made by state BJP leader K Annamalai regarding the return of AIADMK to its “rightful leader” after the Lok Sabha polls. Palaniswami emphasized that the AIADMK has purged itself of undesirable elements and is primed to reap the benefits of a united front.
During campaign rallies for AIADMK candidates in Chennai Central and Chennai South constituencies, Palaniswami criticized the BJP government for its failure to reduce fuel prices despite a decline in international crude oil prices. He pledged that AIADMK, along with its allies, would emerge victorious in all 40 constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Palaniswami assured that AIADMK would exert pressure on the Central government to reduce fuel prices post-elections for the welfare of the general public. He also chastised the ruling DMK for its failure to fulfill promises of reducing fuel prices, underscoring the party’s commitment to addressing the needs of the people.
