Chennai: The city police are conducting inquiries with three young men who are suspected to be mobile phone snatchers.

According to sources, following complaints that there were several incidents of mobile phone snatchings in Abhiramipuram and Mylapore areas, a special team of police began checking CCTV footage in the locality.

Based on the visuals, they took Yogesh (18) of R A Puram, Sivakumar (20) of Semmenchery and Ramamurthy (19) of Adyar to custody. The trio are being inquired.
