This Madras Week, that is traditionally celebrated in August, the members of India Poetry Circle (IPC) in Chennai decided on a different kind of tribute to the city they love – Chennai that was known as Madras. They have brought out an anthology of poetry and prose – an illustrated one at that – for the occasion.

Man found dead at CMBT

A man was found dead at a platform at Koyambedu bus terminus at 7 am today. According to police, Suresh Kumar (39) of Tiruppur alerted the police that a man was lying motionless at platform 3. Officials rushed to the spot and confirmed he was dead.
