Chennai: Sri Tarachand Galada Jain Matriculation School, 44, Madley Street, inaugurated ‘Tesla Science Club’ on 10 July in its premises.

A press release said, the club was inaugurated on the occasion of the birth anniversary of scientist Nikola Tesla, who developed the alternating current besides making many valuable inventions.

School principal Sita Ranjit said that the life and achievements of Tesla were screened through a power point presentation and exhibits by students on Tesla coil, the model of alternating current generator, eon lights attracted the audience present.
