Veterinary park to come up in Salem with frozen bull semen station

Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today announced that a veterinary park will be established at Thalaivasal in Salem at a cost of Rs 396 crore.

Making the announcement under Rule 110 during the budget session in the Tamilnadu Assembly, Palaniswami said the park will be constructed on 900 acres and be the biggest such facility in Asia.

He said the park will house a frozen bull semen station which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 100 crore.
