New Delhi, Dec 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with US President Donald Trump over the phone on Thursday. The two leaders talked about ways to improve trade between India and the United States at a time when both countries are working through tariff-related issues.
Modi and Trump agreed that India and the US must continue working together to boost business, technology ties, defence cooperation, and energy partnerships. They also reviewed the progress of the India-US strategic partnership.
Modi said both countries will keep working for global peace and stability. The call showed that India and the US want to push trade talks forward and strengthen their overall relationship.
