Chennai: Suriya starrer Kaappaan, which is all set for release 20 September, has been censored.

It has cleared the censors with UA certificate. Suriya plays an NSG officer, and Mohanlal is donning the role of a politician in the film.

Produced by Lyca and directed by KV Anand, the film also stars Arya, Sayyeshaa, Boman Irani and Samuthirakani in key characters.

The movie has music by Harris Jeyaraj. Anand and Suriya come together after Ayan and Maattrraan.

Besides Kaappaan, Suriya has Soorarai Pottrru, movies with directors Siva and Hari, respectively.
