Tiruchy, June 16: VCK leader dismisses alliance rumours, says power will naturally follow the party’s principled path.

Addressing a massive rally in Trichy, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) president Thol Thirumavalavan firmly declared that wherever VCK stands, “victory and governance follow.” He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the DMK-led alliance, brushing aside speculations of political realignment.

Thirumavalavan criticised attempts to suppress VCK’s presence, alleging that authorities denied them permission and tried to ban party flags. “Neither the state nor the Union government can stop us,” he said, underlining VCK’s growing influence.

Responding to claims that he is seeking high political posts, Thirumavalavan stated, “We didn’t even desire the Chief Minister’s post. Power and positions will come to us—we are guided by ideals, not ambition.”

He also condemned the BJP’s communal politics and warned people to stay vigilant against distractions from celebrities and political opportunists.
