The Ukrainian city of Dnipro, based in the southeastern part of the country was rocked by a deadly Russian drone strike, late on Wednesday night.

The deadly attacked claimed three lives, including those of a young girl and an elderly woman, and left at least 28 people wounded.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine confirmed the casualties and reported extensive damage to buildings and infrastructure. Among the injured were four children, including a nine-month-old infant.

This assault follows a deadly missile attack on Sumy over the weekend, which killed at least 35 people and injured over 100 others.
