Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians beat Pat Cummins’ Sunrisers Hyderabad by four wickets after chasing 163 in 18.1 overs in the Indian Premier League 2025 Match No. 32 at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday to get two crucial points.
It was the bowlers who laid the foundation for MI’s triumph, restricting SRH to a modest 162/5. The pace trio of Trent Boult, Deepak Chahar, and Will Jacks shared the spoils with two wickets apiece, while Jasprit Bumrah and skipper Hardik Pandya chipped in with a wicket each to maintain consistent pressure throughout the innings. MI ended the powerplay strongly at 55/1.
Despite a minor scare in the 18th over, Tilak’s calm unbeaten 21 (17) sealed the six-wicket win with a boundary. Will Jacks was named Player of the Match for his all-round brilliance.
