The Election Commission of India (ECI) will resume hearings on the long-standing dispute over the AIADMK’s ‘Two-Leaves’ symbol on April 28. Both AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami and expelled leader O Panneerselvam have been directed to attend the hearing in Delhi.

This follows the Madras High Court’s February ruling that lifted a stay order, allowing the ECI’s inquiry to continue. ECI Secretary Ashwani Kumar Mohal confirmed that personal hearings were held in December 2024 to address the issue.
