Former Tamil Nadu Minister and AIADMK leader Sellur Raju has accused the DMK government of failing to address key issues, warning that this dissatisfaction will reflect in the upcoming elections.
He criticized the government for not resolving the Vengaivayal issue and for not taking appropriate action after a Dalit girl was allegedly assaulted at a DMK MLA’s residence. He also pointed out that Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) leader Thol. Thirumavalavan, despite being an ally of the DMK, has remained silent on these matters.
Additionally, Raju alleged that the DMK has not fulfilled its promises to government employees and teachers. However, he noted that the Communist parties, also part of the DMK alliance, are at least voicing their concerns on these issues.
He concluded by stating that growing discontent among various sections of people against the DMK government will impact the election results.
