President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Tamil Nadu to attend official events in the Nilgiris district and the Central University of Tiruvarur’s convocation ceremony.

As per the schedule, the President will arrive in Tamil Nadu on November 27. She will travel from Delhi to the Sulur Air Force Station in Coimbatore by flight and proceed to Ooty by helicopter.

November 27: Upon arriving in Ooty, the President will rest at Raj Bhavan.

November 28: She will travel by road to the Wellington Military Academy in Coonoor, where she will attend a program and address military officials and trainees.

November 29: The President will meet with tribal communities at Raj Bhavan in Ooty.

November 30: She will return by helicopter to the Sulur Air Force Station in Coimbatore and then fly to Tiruchirappalli. From there, she will proceed to Tiruvarur to attend events at the Central University. After completing her engagements, she will return to Tiruchirappalli and then travel back to Delhi.

In preparation for the President’s visit, the Nilgiris district has implemented heightened security measures to ensure her safety throughout her stay.

President Murmu’s visit marks an important event for the region, with her engagements highlighting interactions with military officials and tribal communities, as well as promoting academic excellence at the convocation ceremony.
