Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tamil Nadu State President, K. Annamalai, has raised suspicions about a possible conspiracy behind the death of Sivaraman, who was involved in a high-profile sexual assault case in Krishnagiri. Annamalai speculates that Sivaraman might have been killed to prevent him from revealing the names of influential individuals linked to the case.
Sivaraman, a member of the Naam Tamilar Katchi, was arrested for allegedly conducting a fake NCC camp and sexually assaulting a schoolgirl in a private school near Bargur, Krishnagiri. After his arrest, Sivaraman reportedly consumed rat poison in a suicide attempt. He was admitted to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries at Salem Government Hospital earlier today. Coincidentally, Sivaraman’s father, Ashok Kumar, also died in a road accident last night.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Annamalai expressed his doubts regarding the circumstances surrounding the deaths of both Sivaraman and his father. He pointed out that these deaths appear suspicious, especially given the timing. Annamalai speculated that Sivaraman might have been murdered to silence him, as he could have potentially disclosed the names of other key individuals involved in the sexual assault case during the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe.
Annamalai raised further concerns, questioning whether all those connected to the case have been arrested or if there is an attempt to protect certain individuals. He emphasized the need for a thorough investigation by the SIT to uncover the truth behind these deaths and to ensure that all those responsible are held accountable.
Annamalai has urged the SIT, which has been tasked with investigating sexual violence against schoolgirls, to conduct a full and transparent investigation into these deaths. He stressed the importance of bringing the truth to light and addressing the questions raised by these suspicious circumstances.
