Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin and Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin have strongly condemned the recent statement made by Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regarding the Rameshwaram Café Blast case. In his message posted on social media, CM Stalin criticized the reckless assertion made by the BJP minister and called for an end to divisive politics by the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Stalin’s message emphasized the need for appropriate legal action against Shobha Karandlaje for her statement, which he deemed as a threat to peace, harmony, and national unity. He urged the Election Commission of India (ECI) to take strict action against hate speech and divisive rhetoric propagated by BJP members.
Echoing the sentiments of the Chief Minister, Tamil Nadu Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin expressed his disbelief at the outrageous claim made by the BJP minister, especially when the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is actively investigating the Rameshwaram Café Blast case. He condemned the BJP’s divisive politics, stating that such statements only serve to undermine the unity and harmony of the nation.
Both leaders stressed that the people of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka will reject the divisive rhetoric of the BJP and called for a thorough investigation by the NIA into the matter. They urged the ECI to take necessary action against Shobha Karandlaje for her hate speech, which poses a threat to the unity and integrity of the country.
