Chennai: Tamilnadu Irrigation Minister Duraimurugan, who had planned to go to Dubai on a day when Chief Minister M K Stalin returned from there, cancelled his trip at the last minute.
He was scheduled to go there on a two-day State visit and he had planned to attend a seminar on irrigation.
However, after boarding the flight, Duraimurugan reportedly felt uneasy and was rushed to a corporate hospital in Chennai. After regular medical checkup, his parameters were normal and Duraimurugan went home without being hospitalised, sources said.
Meanwhile, in a social media post, Duraimurugan’s son and MP Kathir Anand said his father was fine. He requested party members and people to not believe rumours.
