Maha is women-centric film with Hansika playing the lead. Srikanth plays a meaty role in it. And the highlight of the film is Simbhu in an extended cameo.

Directed by Jameel, the movie is bankrolled by V Msthiahagan. Asked when Maga would release, the producer says, ‘We are almost done with the shooting. We had the last schedule going on and only 8 days were remaining, but the lockdown was announced at the exact same time.

The set that we had built for shooting the climax is still there. It is an indoor sequence and once the lockdown is lifted, we will definitely finish the shooting immediately.

However, health of all the actors and technicians is our first priority. We will deploy all healthcare measures to ensure that the work environment is risk-free. We have also requested the Chief Minister for permission to resume the indoor shooting.’
