There are reports doing rounds that actor Dhanush wants to remake Rajinikanth-starrer Netrikann, as it is one of his favourite films of all time.

Netrikann, directed by SP Muthraman was produced by K Balachander under his home banner Kavithalaya Productions. The film, which had Rajinikanth in two roles, follows the story of a son trying to get his womaniser dad change his behaviour.

Dhanush had earlier acted in the remake of Rajinikanth’s Maapillai. Sources say,”Netrikann is Dhanush’s favourite film and he always had this idea of remaking it in Tamil again. He will begin working on the project post completing the shoot of Mari Selvaraj’s project. An official announcement will be made soon.”
