Chennai: Shanmugapandian, son of Vijayakanth, who acted in a couple of films before is playing a police officer in a movie that recently went on floors with a pooja.

Sources say that the movie has been titled ‘Mithran‘. Produced by G Entertainers, Ronica Singh has been roped in to play the female lead which will be directed by Boobalan, a former associate of Siruthai Siva.

Mithran also boasts of an ensemble of actors including Vamsi Krishna, Azhagam Perumal, Archana, and Munishkanth. Sources say that Shanmugapandian is regularly hitting the gym to get fit for the role.
