Alandur MLA T M Anbarasan inaugurated the newly installed CCTV cameras at the junction of Patel Street, Nehru Nagar, on 23 February installed by Patel Street Residents’ Welfare Association.

The cameras were sponsored by S P Ebenezer and Reena Ebenezer of R R Construction.

The control room was inaugurated by St Thomas Mount Deputy Commissioner M S Muthusamy and Selaiyur Assistant Commissioner R Vinoth. Pallavaram MLA E Karunanidhi, association president Kumar Shanmugam, treasurer Muralidharan, secretary Govindarajan and Federation of Civic and Welfare Associations of Pallavaram president V Santhanam were present.
