RAPRA inaugurated a door-to-door collection of recyclable plastic and metal waste last week. According to a release, CEO of Ramky Enviro Venkatesh, along with his team for the area was present.

Venkatesh interacted with the residents gathered, on source segregation. He urged the residents to keep separately the plastic wastes and hand them over to Ramky cartman every Sunday.

He also assured the residents that his company would extend all cooperation in decomposing wet waste if RAPRA could find suitable space for decomposing. Also, the team assured they would visit all the buildings and create the awareness on segregating plastics, metals and wet waste.

Venkatesh also flagged off the Tricycles to collect the first Sunday plastics and recyclables from the various roads.
