The plot revolves around two men, Gopi and Azhagu, who live and work on their bus. Their lives take a turn when they discover a woman named Gayathri, the daughter of a politician, has moved into their bus. Gayathri speaks an unknown language, and the rest of the film follows the trio as they try to evade the authorities who are searching for her. Her father wants to force her into politics, and the re-release is expected to highlight the memorable comedic performances of Murali and Vadivelu.

The movie, directed by Thaha, is a remake of his own Malayalam film, Ee Parakkum Thallika.
