Congress leader Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi on Sunday. She had stomach-related problems, the hospital said.

She is now under observation in the gastro department. Doctors are checking her closely.

Earlier, on June 7, Sonia Gandhi was also admitted to a hospital in Shimla for a routine check-up. Officials said she had minor health issues at that time.

Doctors have confirmed her condition is stable.
