A helicopter crashed in Uttarakhand’s Gaurikund forest on Sunday morning. All seven people on board, including the pilot, died.The helicopter was flying from Kedarnath to Guptkashi. It took off at 5:17 am. Bad weather and low visibility caused it to go off course and crash.
This is the fifth helicopter crash in Uttarakhand in just six weeks.
Rescue teams quickly reached the area. SDRF, NDRF, and local police worked together at the crash site, which is in a dense forest.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said he was deeply sad about the incident.
