In anticipation of Aadi Amavasai on August 4, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) will operate 50 special buses from Chennai and other key locations to Rameswaram on August 3.

Due to the observance of Aadi Amavasai, a significant day for performing rituals like tharpanam and thithi for ancestors, a large number of devotees are expected to travel to Rameswaram. To accommodate this increase in pilgrim traffic, special bus services will be available from Chennai, Salem, Coimbatore, and Bengaluru.
