Chennai: Tamilnadu government today announced two hours increase in the operational hours of TASMAC.

The State government said that the outlets will be open till 7 pm. It may be noted that the shops were opened from 10 am till 5 pm so far.

The Supreme Court’s order on Friday paved the way for resumption of liquor sale in Tamilnadu through Tamilnadu State Marketing Corporation retail vends.

As per the new arrangement, those seeking to buy liquor will have to get token first and only then they could make the purchase on the date and time specified.
