Chennai: Chennai District Badminton Championship 2019 was conducted by CDBA (Chennai District Badminton Association) and Smasher Sports Academy on 7 and 8 July at Smasher 2.0 Sports and Arts Academy, Thoraipakkam.
A press release said, Irvin Walter (Trinity) won the championship in the men’s singles category and S Sivaranjani (Fireball) won the championship in the women’s singles.
The guests of honour for the felicitation ceremony were Aravind- secretary, CDBA (Chennai District Badminton Association), Rajesh Ramkumar- CEO, Smasher Sports Academy, Vinoth- owner, Kovai Koncker Badminton Team, Siva- Chairman, TNBSL (Tamilnadu Badminton Super League).
