Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) leader TTV Dhinakaran has accused the DMK government of failing to deliver on the majority of its election promises. Speaking at a party event in Devakottai, he said the ruling party has not implemented even 80% of the assurances it made to the people during the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
Dhinakaran alleged that many of the DMK’s key commitments remain unfulfilled, and people who believed its promises are now disappointed. He criticised the government for not prioritising public welfare schemes effectively.
He also urged political parties and organisations to strictly comply with court guidelines while conducting public meetings to ensure the safety and convenience of the public.
