Dhanush’s upcoming film Idli Kadai is getting ready for release on October 1. The makers are keeping fans excited by sharing new character posters every day.

Arun Vijay will be seen as Ashwin. Sathyaraj plays Vishnu Vardhan, who is expected to be Arun Vijay’s father in the story. On Monday, it was revealed that Rajkiran will play Sivanesan. His character is said to be closely linked to the beginning of Dhanush’s journey with Idli Kadai. Reports suggest Dhanush’s character may either inherit Sivanesan’s small restaurant or start one in his honour.

The film also stars Nithya Menen as the female lead, along with Samuthirakani. Actor Parthiban will appear in a special cameo.

Idli Kadai is jointly produced by Akash Bhaskaran of Dawn Pictures and Dhanush’s own banner, Wunderbar Pictures. Inban Udhayanidhi, son of Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, will step into cinema as a distributor with this film.
