In a letter addressed to All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) cadres and administrators, V.K. Sasikala has issued a strong statement, urging for unity within the party.

She stressed the need for a united and strong AIADMK to defeat the “evil force” of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in the upcoming legislative assembly elections.

Sasikala used the proverb, “Blood-sucking wolves are waiting for the sheep to clash,” to highlight the danger of the party’s internal conflicts. She warned that the current divisions are weakening the AIADMK and benefiting their rivals, stating that the DMK is “warming themselves by this fire.”

She appealed to the party members to unite and prove that the AIADMK is the largest party in Tamil Nadu, aiming for victory in the 2026 assembly elections. Sasikala expressed her sorrow that the party was unable to secure a victory in the 2021 elections despite her stepping aside, adding that the continuation of this internal discord is a betrayal of the party’s leaders. She urged them to prevent a situation where the DMK could return to power.
