Urging party cadre not to heed “anyone else’s words”, PMK founder S. Ramadoss on Sunday said he would form a “victorious alliance” for the 2026 Assembly election.Dr. Ramadoss was addressing the 8th Magalir Peruvizha Maanadu (women’s conference), organised by the PMK and the Vanniyar Sangam at Poompuhar in Mayiladuthurai district.
“I will form a victorious alliance in 2026 no matter who says what. You don’t even have to hear it — only what I tell will happen,” Dr. Ramadoss told the gathering.
Urging Chief Minister M.K. Stalin to conduct a caste-based survey, Dr. Ramadoss said it would secure the Chief Minister’s place in “social history”. “Late Chief Minister Karunanidhi was my good friend. He gave 20% reservation for MBCs. As his son, youshould not hesitate,” he said.
Warning of State-wide agitations, he asked Stalin not to push the PMK to such as position.
He also called for liquor prohibition and the elimination of ganja, offering assistance in framing measures to curb the sale and use of alcohol and drugs.
