AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) launched his campaign tour “Let’s Save the People, Let’s Rescue Tamil Nadu” from Mettupalayam.

Speaking at the rally, EPS said the large crowd would give “fever” to his rivals. He slammed DMK for failing to deliver during its alliance with Congress and accused it of focusing only on corruption.

He said the AIADMK-BJP alliance will win the 2026 elections and questioned why DMK called BJP “good” in 2001 but now terms it “communal” when AIADMK allies with it.

EPS said DMK’s 16 years in power at the Centre did nothing for Tamil Nadu. “The next election will end DMK rule,” he said.
