The much-awaited film Maarisan, starring Tamil cinema veterans Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil, is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on July 25. The makers announced the release date with a special poster, generating excitement among fans.

Directed by Sudheesh Shankar, the film features a story, screenplay, and dialogues written by V. Krishnamurthy, who also serves as the creative director. Maarisan brings together an ensemble cast including Kovai Sarala, Vivek Prasanna, Sithara, P. L. Thenappan, Livingston, Renuka, Saravana Subbiah, Krishna, Haritha, and Telephone Raj among others.

Cinematography is by Kalaiselvan Sivaji, with music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Sreejith Sarang handles editing, while Mahendran takes care of art direction.

Set in a rural backdrop, the film is described as a travelling thriller. It is produced by R. B. Choudary under the Super Good Films banner, with E4 Experiments serving as the creative production partner.

The film’s teaser, which has already crossed 4 million views, has raised anticipation among fans and trade circles alike. Following the success of Maamannan, the on-screen pairing of Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil in Maarisan has sparked high expectations.
