Aryna Sabalenka moved into the Wimbledon 2025 quarterfinals after beating Elise Mertens 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) on Centre Court. She will face Laura Siegemund next.

Taylor Fritz also entered the quarterfinals after Jordan Thompson retired due to injury. Fritz was leading 6-1, 3-0 when the match ended.

Earlier, Novak Djokovic made history by winning his 100th match at Wimbledon. He beat fellow Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic in the third round to reach the milestone. Djokovic is now the second man ever to reach 100 wins at Wimbledon.
