Tirunelveli, June 30:

A tragic incident was reported from Thirukurungudi in Tamil Nadu’s Tirunelveli district, where a 7-year-old boy named Jeevanantham died after being bitten by a beetle.

According to sources, the boy was bitten by the insect and soon began showing severe symptoms. He was rushed for treatment but unfortunately did not survive. Another child who also suffered a beetle bite is currently undergoing treatment.

The police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Locals have expressed concern and are urging authorities to take preventive measures, especially with children playing in open and rural areas.

This unfortunate incident has created panic in the area, and officials are closely monitoring the situation.
