On Father’s Day, PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss apologized to his father and party founder S. Ramadoss. He said, “If you’re angry with me, please forgive me. It’s not a big deal to say sorry to my father.”

Speaking at a party meeting in Tiruvallur, Anbumani wished his father a long life

and asked him not to take stress or get angry, referring to his health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure.

Even though he apologized, Anbumani said he will continue as PMK president. He asked his father to guide him and promised to follow his instructions both as a son and a leader.

He also praised his father, calling him a national leader respected even by Prime Minister Modi.

Anbumani announced a statewide tour starting July 25, Ramadoss’s birthday. He has already started meeting party members in 10 northern districts like Tiruvallur and Kanchipuram.

Meanwhile, S. Ramadoss is still taking action against those supporting Anbumani. On Sunday, he removed general secretary Vadivel Ravanan and replaced him with Murali Sankar. Earlier, he had also removed other leaders, but Anbumani brought them back.
