Actor, producer, and entrepreneur RK has been honored with the prestigious “Tan Sri” title by the King of Atjeh Darissalum, a recognition equivalent to the British “Sir” title. This comes after he was previously awarded the “Datuk Seri” honor by the Malaysian government. RK was also presented with two historic swords as a mark of respect for his contributions to society and innovation.

Apart from his achievements in cinema, RK has made significant breakthroughs through his VIP Group, introducing innovative products like VIP Hair Color Shampoo. His contributions have earned him doctorate titles from 18 countries.

In a major move for Tamil cinema, RK has built a state-of-the-art film studio in Vadapalani, Chennai, featuring three air-conditioned floors. He expressed concern over the decline of studios in Kodambakkam, stating that Tamil cinema is being pushed out of its traditional base.

RK is currently producing a film that explores “pride killings” among animals, starring Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiah, and Nasser, with music by Imman. He also confirmed that Vadivelu will act with him in the future, despite previous scheduling issues.

On politics, RK firmly stated, “I have no interest in politics. Voting is my only political act.” He emphasized his dedication to business, cinema, and social service.
