TMC Extends Support to AAP for Delhi polls

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has announced that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has extended its support to AAP in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections.
The Delhi Assembly elections are scheduled for February 5, with the vote counting set to take place on February 8, as per the announcement by the Election Commission.
With the elections nearing, major parties like AAP, BJP, and Congress have intensified their campaign efforts.
Recently, the Samajwadi Party also announced its support for AAP, to which Kejriwal expressed his gratitude to SP leader Akhilesh Yadav.
Following this, TMC has now declared its support for AAP. Kejriwal, in a post on social media platform X, expressed his gratitude to TMC leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, stating:
“Heartfelt thanks to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for extending her support to AAP in the Delhi elections. You have always stood by us, offering unwavering support and blessings during good times and challenging moments. Thank you.”
The support from TMC and SP is expected to bolster AAP’s efforts in the upcoming elections, adding a layer of alliance-based strength to their campaign.
