Actor Arun Vijay, gearing up for the release of Bala’s Vanangaan, shared an emotional note reflecting on his journey with the film. Known for his intense performances, the Thadam actor expressed his heartfelt thanks to director Bala for entrusting him with a powerful role and to producer Suresh Kamatchi for their unwavering support.Recalling his experience during the film’s screening, Arun Vijay revealed that while shooting, he couldn’t entirely immerse himself in the story. However, watching the completed film left a profound impact on him. He added that the movie resonated deeply with his family, who attended the screening alongside him. Eager to present the film to audiences, Arun Vijay shared his excitement to hear feedback from fans.
Vanangaan received a U/A certificate earlier this year, accompanied by a gripping trailer that hints at a revenge drama. Arun Vijay plays a man wrongfully imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit. Upon release, he seeks justice for his sister, who suffered sexual abuse. Interestingly, the trailer showcases a mute Arun Vijay, adding a layer of complexity to his character.
The film features Roshni Prakash as the female lead, with notable performances by Samuthirakani and Mysskin in pivotal roles. The ensemble cast also includes Ridha, Chhaya Devi, Bala Sivaji, Shanmugarajan, Dr. Yohan Chacko, Kavitha Gopi, Brindha Sarathy, Mai Pa Narayanan, Aruldass, and Munish Sivagurunath.
Backed by Suresh Kamatchi’s V House Productions, Vanangaan boasts a talented technical team. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music, while RB Gurudev has handled the cinematography, and Sathish Suriya has taken charge of editing.
