PMK founder Ramadoss issued a statement expressing shock over reports that Chief Minister Stalin has abandoned the financial demands of government employees, including the old pension scheme for teachers and other state workers.
Ramadoss criticized Stalin for his reversal on the old pension scheme, which had been a key demand from government employees who supported his rise to power. He pointed out that Stalin had once relied on the votes of government employees to win the Lok Sabha elections, but now, with just over a year left in his term, he was refusing to implement the old pension plan. Ramadoss stated that this move revealed Stalin’s true face, as he no longer needed the support of government employees.
The PMK leader assured that if his party comes to power in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections, they would reinstate the old pension scheme.
Ramadoss also emphasized that teachers and government employees are not fools to be continuously deceived by the DMK. He declared that in the upcoming elections, they would teach the DMK a lesson for its anti-labor actions, specifically targeting government employees and teachers.
This statement from Ramadoss signals PMK’s commitment to addressing the concerns of government employees and its stance on rectifying the perceived injustices caused by the current DMK government.
