Renowned director Nelson Dilipkumar is making his foray into film production with Bloody Beggar, a film directed by his assistant Sivabalan Muthukumar. The movie, featuring actor Kavin in the lead role, will be produced under Nelson’s new banner, Filament Pictures.On Wednesday, the makers announced that the trailer for Bloody Beggar will be released on October 18. A recently released character glimpse has generated excitement, showcasing Kavin as a beggar faking a disability to seek alms, offering a gritty and intriguing premise.
Kavin leads an ensemble cast that includes Redin Kingsly, Maruthi Prakashraj, Sunil Sukadha, T M Karthik, Padam Venu Kumar, Arshad, Priyadarshini Rajkumar, Miss Saleema, Akshaya Hariharan, Anarkali Nazar, Dhivya Vikram, Tanuja Madhurapantula, Rohit Denis, Vidyuth Ravi, and Mohammed Bilal.
The film’s technical crew boasts music by Jen Martin, cinematography by Sujith Sarang, and editing by Nirmal. The action sequences will be choreographed by stunt directors Action Sandhosh and Metro Mahesh.
Bloody Beggar is set to release on Diwali Day, October 31, and will compete with two other big releases—Amaran, starring Sivakarthikeyan, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, and Brother, directed by Rajesh M and starring Jeyam Ravi and Priyanka Mohan.
