The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has released its updated service schedule, ensuring smooth transportation for passengers amid ongoing weather challenges in the city. The metro will operate from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily, with the first trains departing from all terminals at 5:00 AM and the last trains leaving at 11:00 PM.

Service Schedule Overview
Green Line: Trains from Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Central Metro to St. Thomas Mount Metro will run every 5 minutes.
Blue Line: Trains from Chennai Airport to Wimco Nagar Depot will run every 6 minutes.
Washermenpet Metro to Arignar Alandur Metro: Trains will operate every 3 minutes, ensuring frequent and efficient service during peak hours.
Advisories for Passengers
Due to water stagnation caused by recent rains, passengers are advised to avoid halting their vehicles at parking areas prone to flooding, including Koyambedu Metro, St. Thomas Mount, and Arumbakkam Metro stations. CMRL will update these advisories based on real-time weather conditions to ensure passenger safety.
