In a call for renewed commitment to governance, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin urged his ministers to work with dedication and ensure the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) maintains its stronghold in the state. Addressing his cabinet in a five-page statement, Stalin emphasized the collective responsibility of government and the importance of living up to the trust placed in them by the electorate.
A Call for Collective Responsibility
In his message, Stalin reminded his ministers that the success of the government is built on teamwork, stating, “Government is a collective responsibility. I, the Chief Minister, am a coalition of ministers.” He highlighted that the public’s faith in the ministers is even greater than his own, underscoring the need to meet the expectations of voters who brought the DMK to power. Stalin’s message comes at a crucial juncture as the party looks to consolidate its position in Tamil Nadu.
Addressing the recent appointment of his son, Udhayanidhi Stalin, as Deputy Chief Minister, Stalin justified the decision as a strategic move for the future of the DMK and the state. Udhayanidhi, who was previously serving as the Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, was elevated to the role of Deputy CM to expand his administrative capacities.
