IndiGo has announced the launch of direct flights connecting Chennai and Shirdi, with services set to begin on September 24. This new route aims to provide a convenient and efficient travel option for passengers between these two cities, especially those visiting the renowned pilgrimage destination of Shirdi.Flight 6E 725 will depart from Chennai’s Anna International Airport (MAA) at 2:30 pm and arrive at Shirdi Airport (SAG) at 4:30 pm, covering the distance in just two hours. The return flight, 6E 726, will take off from Shirdi at 5:00 pm and touch down in Chennai at 7:00 pm.
The introduction of this direct flight route is expected to benefit both tourists and devotees who frequently travel between Chennai and Shirdi. By cutting down travel time, IndiGo aims to offer passengers a more convenient travel experience, enhancing accessibility to the holy town of Shirdi, which is home to the revered Sai Baba temple.
