State BJP President K Annamalai has launched scathing criticism against Udayanidhi Stalin, scion of the DMK, and Chief Minister MK Stalin over various issues, including Udayanidhi’s recent remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state’s escalating drug trafficking problem.
Addressing reporters after attending a BJP manifesto preparation committee meeting, Annamalai refuted speculations about his candidacy in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, stating that he will abide by the party high-command’s decision. He emphasized that his allegiance lies with the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will determine his role in the coming days.
Annamalai also took aim at Udayanidhi Stalin, dismissing him as insignificant compared to Prime Minister Modi and questioning his credentials to criticize the Prime Minister. He ridiculed Udayanidhi’s lack of achievements outside of his family’s political legacy and acting career, labeling him a failed actor. Annamalai criticized Udayanidhi’s comments about Modi’s grandfather, asserting that Udayanidhi’s remarks lacked substance and credibility.
Furthermore, Annamalai lambasted Chief Minister MK Stalin for his silence on the issue of drug trafficking in Tamil Nadu, dubbing the state as the “drug capital of India.” He accused the DMK government of neglecting the growing drug menace and failing to address the issue effectively.
