The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), the ruling party in Tamil Nadu, has announced the commencement of the application process for its party cadres interested in contesting in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The DMK General Secretary, Duraimurugan, revealed that the application forms for MP tickets will be made available at the party headquarters, Anna Arivalayam, starting from February 19. As per the announcement, interested candidates will have the opportunity to collect the application forms and submit them to the party headquarters between March 1 and 6 PM on March 7. Applicants can obtain the application forms by paying a fee of Rs 2,000 each at the party headquarters. Furthermore, the DMK has set an application fee of Rs 50,000 for prospective candidates. This move indicates the party’s commitment to streamlining the candidate selection process and ensuring the seriousness and dedication of applicants.
