Chennai, Jan 11: TN Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development Department, Udhayanidhi Stalin, conducted an inspection at the SDAT Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to oversee the progress of the laying of the Synthetic Athletic Track. This stadium is slated to host the prestigious upcoming Khelo India Youth Games 2023. Accompanying him were key officials including Dr. Atulya Misra, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Youth Welfare and Sports Development Department, and J. Meghanatha Reddy, Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, along with several other senior government dignitaries.The Khelo India Youth Games have been organized under the auspices of the central government’s initiative since 2018. These games have been a platform for athletes aged 17 and 21, encompassing various sporting events.
