The Consulate-General of Japan in Chennai, and ABK-AOTS DOSOKAI, Tamilnadu Centre, are organising a one-day mega event Chennai Japan Expo 2023 on 25 November from 11 am at VR Chennai, Anna Nagar, to introduce the culture of Japan.

The expo includes cultural exhibitions of Japanese traditional dolls, Ikebana, Bonsai, Japanese lessons and insight of the Japanese culture by Japanese language schools in Tamilnadu. Workshop on Origami, and martial demonstration on Judo, Karate and Kobudo will be performed by  Indian masters. Live Music performance will be performed by Japanese amateur musicians and Indian artists and lot more.

The expo will see participation of Japanese companies introducing about their company’s culture and conducting seminar on Japanese management

techniques and work culture.

Also, for student’s seminar on Study Abroad Program and MEXT Scholarship programme in Japan will be conducted by the University of Tokyo, India Office.

An opportunity for the people visiting Japan to know more about the tourism, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO)’s videos will be screened, and tourism pamphlets will be ready for visitors.

The expo will be inaugurated by TAGA
